About Rhondalyn Riley

Water Intrusion Specialist/Consultant

Rhondalyn Riley is a highly qualified professional who is well known within both the residential and commercial building industries throughout the State of Texas. Since 1993, she has been actively involved in on-site construction projects as an inspector and consultant for both custom home builders and in commercial projects. Rhondalyn began her own company, Exterior Inspections, Inc. in 1997 and has built an impressive career as a water intrusion specialist. Her services are sought after by home owners, home buyers, design professionals, general contractors, home builders, and plastering/waterproofing contractors.

Real Estate Inspector

Rhondalyn is also a Professional Real Estate Inspector, licensed by the State of Texas, TREC #6330. Inspections include visual assessment of the structural and mechanical aspects of the interior and exterior of the property, focusing on:
Structural inspection- Foundation, grading and drainage, roof, attic, interior and exterior walls, ceilings, floors, interior and exterior doors, windows, attached structures (porches, decks, carports, garages), fireplaces, and chimneys; and
Mechanical inspection- Electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, built-in appliances, garage door components, dryer vents.

Instructor

Rhondalyn began instructing Professional and Real Estate inspector students in core (structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical) real estate inspection courses for Champions School of Real Estate in 2009. She also instructs continuing education courses for Professional and Real Estate Inspectors in the subjects of Stucco, Pool and Spa, Green Building, Roofing, Exteriors, Foundations and Structures, International Residential Building Codes, and International Energy Conservation Code (Residential provisions).
